Dr. D. Sangeeta has spent her career turning tough business problems into growth opportunities, from the lab bench to the C-Suite at GE, Nielsen, and Amazon. Her driving passion is linking bold ideas with the people who bring them to life, creating environments where the organization is equipped to solve, scale, and innovate.
Sangeeta knows what it takes to scale a company profitably and scale leaders. Her mission is to help both businesses and leaders remove the barriers she encountered, unlocking new opportunities and accelerating performance.
She decided to leverage her 25+ years of corporate experience to establish Gotara. The AI-enabled platform, coupled with role model coaches/advisors, is a Business and Leadership Accelerator, creating a sustainable model for customer growth and productivity. Customers leverage Gotara’s platform and services for M&A Integration, Transformations, Strategy execution, Timely launches, Productivity, Innovation Acceleration, and improving Customer Impact. Gotara not only commits to business outcomes, it also scales leaders in conjunction with business results.
Building a Foundation of Innovation, Operational Excellence, and Leadership
Prior to Gotara, she was Amazon’s Vice President of Connections, where she led Research, Technology, Product, and Business Deployment, serving all Amazon associates (1.2M) daily. Through innovative solutions, the team identified and addressed obstacles that hindered customer delivery, such as managers, organizations, processes or innovation.
At Nielsen she learnt how to run global organizations in various roles, ranging from Chief Business Process Improvement (BPI) Officer to Global Data Science Leader, Chief Diversity Officer, and Global Client Operations Leader across 106 countries.
At GE she became a senior executive through operational excellence, leadership development, and a prolific innovator. Her roles spanned from Risk Manager to Integration Leader of acquisition to General Manager, Quality, and Senior Research Scientist at GE Corporate R&D.
Sangeeta has a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of Illinois and an MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Authoring two books and earning 27 patents.
