Dr. D Sangeeta, Founder and CEO Gotara
I am Dr. D Sangeeta, Founder and CEO of Gotara. Five years ago, I decided to leverage my 25+ years of corporate experience to establish Gotara. Our AI-enabled platform, coupled with role model coaches/advisors, is a Business and Leadership Accelerator, creating a sustainable model for customer growth and productivity. Customers leverage our platform and services for M&A Integration, Transformations, Strategy execution, Timely launches, Productivity, Innovation Acceleration, and improving Customer Impact. We not only guarantee our results, we also deliver leadership growth in conjunction with business results
Bringing my experience to Gotara from Amazon, Nielsen, and GE – I successfully business-integrated an acquisition in half the time, transforming an underperforming organization into a destination. Having worked in Technology, Retail, Market Research, and Aviation, I bring diverse industry experience to the table. I’ve worked in Data Science, Marketing, Diversity, Engineering, Research & Development, Operations, Risk Management, and Quality, showcasing my ability to adapt and excel in diverse business environments.

Building a Foundation for Leadership and Innovation
As Amazon’s Vice President of Connections, I led Research, Technology, Product, and Business Deployment, serving all Amazon associates (1.2M) daily. Through innovative solutions, we identified and addressed obstacles that hindered customer delivery, such as managers, organizations, processes or innovation.
Prior to Amazon, I was at Nielsen for over nine years in various roles, ranging from Chief Business Process Improvement (BPI) Officer to Global Data Science Leader, Chief Diversity Officer, and Global Client Operations Leader across 106 countries. Before joining Nielsen, I was at GE Aviation in various roles spanning from Risk Manager to Integration Leader of acquisition to General Manager, Quality, and Senior Research Scientist at GE Corporate R&D.
My academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of Illinois and an MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Authoring two books and earning 27 patents has been a rewarding journey of learning and growth, culminating in recognition through the Nielsen CEO award, two National Women of Color Technology awards (over 17 years), and the GE Latimer Innovation award. My daughter works in DC, and my husband is also a founder and CEO. We enjoy global travel and golf whenever possible.
