Why Gotara

 

Gotara is on a mission to create higher-performing organizations by closing the gender gap in STEM+ fields. And we take it very personally!

We were founded by two STEM women who achieved career success while navigating many hurdles. These hurdles, unfortunately, still prevent millions of women from attaining the careers they want. And this not only holds the women back, but it also holds employers back when their talent can not work at their full potential or when this same talent leaves. Ultimately, this societal issue impacts the GDP where these employers are located. We are here to change all of that!

We work with tech-savvy organizations, their managers, and individual employees to remove those hurdles, help leaders grow at all levels, and help employers realize their diversity and business goals. Plus, we scale our work using the latest AI/ML technology.

        Sales Representative

        Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for implementing marketing and sales (Outbound & Inbound) plans based on company growth goals enabling talent growth at customers/partners.

         

        Key responsibilities: Define, articulate, own, implement & deliver the Sales objectives.

        • Support, execute & deliver to Sales Forecast.
        • Monitoring market and competitor activities.
        • Operationalize CRM and analyze pricing approach.
        • Conduct analysis of campaigns and continuously improve sales processes and products.
        • Collect customer’s unmet, underserved, served right, or overserved needs.
        • Create educational material for the marketplace about Gotara’s innovations.
        • Support and live Gotara’s values.

        Key Experiences & Education

        • CRM and Sales experience is a plus.
        • Sales experience in tech world and e-learning is a plus.
        • Proven written & spoken communication skills.
        • Bachelors is required.
        • 0-7 years of experience required.

         

        This position is full time based in Cincinnati (open to remote within Ohio) – We are also open to part time role (10-30 hours/week).  Our team is virtual and the work will happen in hybrid mode with most times working from our home.

        Gotara Coach Role (Remote)

        We are looking for an experienced STEM Senior Leader with a passion and talent for coaching STEM Talent.

        If you:

        • Are you passionate about driving real change to help women and men succeed in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering, and Mathematics) or related field.
        • Have experience coaching and mentoring talent.
        • Have had a successful STEM career where you delivered results and learned how to navigate environments to grow your career.

        GOTARA might be the place to leverage all of your experience to coach women and their managers and close the gender gap in STEM+!

        What you’ll do:

        • Assist STAR Participants in forming an 8-week business focused goal and selecting the appropriate skill content from the Gotara platform.
        • Work directly with our STAR Participants in one-on-one calls and through the platform messaging feature.
        • Advise and coach participants on how to make the most of the program and how to navigate their environment and grow their career.
        • Provide your own examples and inspiration so participants know they are not alone.
        • Identify and summarize any organizational themes—positive attributes of the organizations’ DEI culture or hurdles that need to be addressed.
        • Provide thought leadership and assist in content development.

        Basic qualifications

        • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a STEM+ field including a senior leader position
        • Experience coaching and mentoring STEM+ talent in career growth
        • Proficiency in advising and coaching methodologies (e.g. GROW)
        • Positive and empowering style, versus blaming managers, or organizations

        Preferred qualifications

        • Experience in training, L&D, education
        • Experience in content development

The position can be part-time or full-time and the preferred candidate will get an opportunity to work closely with the COO, as well as the Founder and CEO of Gotara.
