Why Gotara

 

Gotara is on a mission to create higher-performing organizations by closing the gender gap in STEM+ fields. And we take it very personally!

We were founded by two STEM women who achieved career success while navigating many hurdles. These hurdles, unfortunately, still prevent millions of women from attaining the careers they want. And this not only holds the women back, but it also holds employers back when their talent can not work at their full potential or when this same talent leaves. Ultimately, this societal issue impacts the GDP where these employers are located. We are here to change all of that!

        Sales Development Representative (Open to remote within the U.S.)

        The Opportunity

        We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our Business Leadership Accelerator STAR Programs. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and how to generate leads, build relationships by nurturing warm prospects, and finding sales opportunities. They will also have a deep knowledge on Gotara’s products and services and use consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting brand awareness, top-line revenue growth, and profitability. If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to talk!

        What you will do:

        • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
        • Contact and qualify potential customers
        • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
        • Set appointments and follow up on leads
        • Track progress towards meeting sales goals
        • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
        • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

        Who we are looking for:

        • 2+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills
        • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
        • Proficiency in CRM software
        • Ability to work independently
        • Flexibility and adaptability to change
        • Bachelor’s degree is a plus

        This position is full-time and based in Cincinnati (open to remote within the U.S.). We are also open to a part-time role. Our team is virtual, and the work will happen in hybrid mode, with most team members working from our homes.  Pay will be based on experience level, with options for further growth.

        Gotara Coach Role (Open to remote within the U.S.)

        We are looking for an experienced STEM Senior Leader with a passion and talent for coaching STEM Talent.

        If you:

        • Are you passionate about driving real change to help women and men succeed in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering, and Mathematics) or related field.
        • Have experience coaching and mentoring talent.
        • Have had a successful STEM career where you delivered results and learned how to navigate environments to grow your career.

        GOTARA might be the place to leverage all of your experience to coach women and their managers and close the gender gap in STEM+!

        What you’ll do:

        • Assist STAR Participants in forming an 8-week business focused goal and selecting the appropriate skill content from the Gotara platform.
        • Work directly with our STAR Participants in one-on-one calls and through the platform messaging feature.
        • Advise and coach participants on how to make the most of the program and how to navigate their environment and grow their career.
        • Provide your own examples and inspiration so participants know they are not alone.
        • Identify and summarize any organizational themes—positive attributes of the organizations’ DEI culture or hurdles that need to be addressed.
        • Provide thought leadership and assist in content development.

        Basic qualifications

        • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a STEM+ field including a senior leader position
        • Experience coaching and mentoring STEM+ talent in career growth
        • Proficiency in advising and coaching methodologies (e.g. GROW)
        • Positive and empowering style, versus blaming managers, or organizations

        Preferred qualifications

        • Experience in training, L&D, education
        • Experience in content development

        We are looking for senior leaders who want to give back to their communities. The position can be part-time or full-time and the preferred candidate will get an opportunity to work closely with the COO, as well as the Founder and CEO of Gotara.         Marketing Leader (Open to remote within the U.S.)

        The Opportunity

        We are looking for an experienced digital marketer to increase our brand awareness, increase platform membership, and bring sales prospects into the pipeline for our employer programs. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the digital space and is adept at using data to inform decisions. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk!

        What you will do:

        • Create innovative marketing strategies and plans to reach qualified audiences for both B2C and B2B to produce leads.
        • Recommend and drive In-person and digital event participation.
        • Develop, utilize, and report on marketing metrics tied to Gotara business outcomes, emphasizing understanding causal relationships to drive decisions.
        • Create marketing collateral, communications and content.
        • Push digital innovation and shape perspectives on where we should invest. 
        • Oversee day-to-day campaign management.
        • Support and live Gotara’s values: start with customer needs; be curious and continue to learn; work in a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful fashion; think like a CEO.

        Who we are looking for:

        • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or media managing campaigns targeting B2B and B2C technical audiences.
        • Hands-on experience setting up and running campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and Google Ads.
        • Experience using data to tell stories and inform strategies. 
        • Proven written & spoken communication skills. 
        • Exposure to A/B testing. 
        • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence others. 
        • Self-driven, hands-on, creative, motivated, and results oriented.  
        • Great attention to detail and effective organizational skills while thinking strategically. 
        • Experience in SEO optimization.
        • Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
