Allyship. The Critical Partnership STEM+ Women Need

Scott Brown understood the importance of allyship for women in STEM+ while talking with his wife after work each day (BTW, his wife is in a senior finance role–the first female at this level in her organization). After several stories, he understood that his work experience and his wife’s work experience differed dramatically. These conversations opened his eyes to what STEM+ women deal with daily. As a result, Scott became a critical ally for women and has since been a proponent of his wife and daughters as they pursue their career passions and of DEI initiatives in organizations. Scott knows men leaders need to walk the walk regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion, and Scott is doing just that at Experian, where he is currently the Chief Product and Technology Officer. Join us on September 29 at 8:00 am P.T. to learn about allyship–why it is so important, and what it looks like in practice. Scott has a B.S. and an M.S. in Information Systems, both from the University of Florida.
