Nithya Ruff’s success proves that self-knowledge can get you the career you want. Nithya’s career path began with urging from her father and subsequent enrollment in a computer science master’s program in a new country. From there, she worked diligently to find her inner compass, identify what motivates her, what type of work and organizations interest her, and how to ask for what she wanted. Now, the first woman to be Comcast Fellow and Chair of the Linux Foundation Board of Directors, Nithya is a role model for STEM+ women around the globe.

Nithya graduated with an MS in Computer Science from NDSU and an MBA from the University of Rochester, Simon Business School.
